Discard Email / Forward Email:

There are two ways to use these options: With both the Discard Email and Forward Email options enabled or just the Discard Email or Forward Email option enabled.

1. If Discard Email is enabled and Forward Email is NOT, then all email sent to this user will go into a "black hole" and will not be received.

2. If Discard Email and Forward Email are BOTH enabled, then email sent to this mailbox will ONLY be forwarded and no local copy will be kept.

3. If the Forward Email option is enabled and Discard Email is NOT, then all mail sent to that mailbox will be forwarded AND a local copy will be kept on the server for that user.

Remote Admin:
If this is enabled, the selected user will be a domain admin.

Click this button if you would like to view and/or modify a user's email. You can delete individual messages or delete the entire mailbox.

User Name:

(Ex: username@yourdomain.com)

Password:
Select a password.
NOTE:Avoid using spaces and the word "password".

Optional User Settings

First & Last Name:
This is for display and reference purposes only and is usually the first and last name of the user.

Forwarding Email:
If you would like to have this email address forward mail, check the 'Forward Email' box and enter the FULL email address to which it will be delivered.  In the event that you would like to have this email address ONLY forward mail, check the 'Discard Email' box and all email will be forwarded and NOT stored locally.

Discard Email:
There are two options when choosing to 'Discard Email' for a user.

1. If you choose to select 'Discard Email', the email address is basically DISABLED. The sender nor receiver will get any bouncebacks or errors while checking mail or sending to this account. The emails are sent into a "black hole".

2. If you choose to select both 'Enable Forwarding' along with 'Discard Email', then the email address will ONLY forward email and will NOT keep a local copy of it.

Domain Admin Options:
This checkbox enables/disables the user from using the remote web administration feature. When enabled, it automatically makes the user an administrator for the domain.
