Configure your MailMax SMTP Server to limit overall session sizes, and prevent users from sending several large attachments during the same SMTP connection. In other words, a user cannot send 1,000 emails that fall below the 'bytes per message' limit because they will eventually hit the limit and thus be prevented from using excessive network resources.

Using per session bandwidth throttling allows you to prevent users from exhausting your systems storage with sessions of excessive size.
